Position Description, Qualifications & Desired Experience:

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the processing of garnishments, franchise taxes, and office mail in accordance with company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also be the point of contact for reviewing and approving office supply requisitions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

"*"      Payroll:

o   Act as primary liaison with our Payroll Service Provider with regard to wage garnishments and state/government agencies as needed.

o   Act as primary liaison with our Unemployment Insurance broker


"*"      Interdepartmental Support:

o   Print and mail/FedEx items for the legal department and/or others

o   Support branch staff as needed

"*"      Office Management:

o   Review and approve office supply requisitions

o   Open mail and distribute daily

o   Prepare workspaces for new employees

o   Coordinate office meetings and events

o   Monitor phones and greet office visitors (post-COVID)


"*"      Additional duties may be assigned by the CFO or Controller

"*"      Ability to communicate, both written and verbal, professionally and politely with internal Chartwell team and external partners

"*"      Able to read and understand technical forms

"*"      Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

"*"      Must be willing to learn new tools/functions

"*"      Collaboration:  the candidate must have the capacity to partner with others across the organization in multiple locations to gather data, communicate results, brainstorm ideas and implement business improvements.
